The Acquarone Scale

Created by Dr. Stella Acquarone, this scale is an observation checklist that assists clinicians in identifying pre-autisitic behaviours in infants from 0 to 3 years old, an age group not included within the scope of traditional autistic screening toolsWith this scale, four different areas are measured in detail: 

  1. Interpersonal
  2. Motor 
  3. Sensorial 
  4. Emotional
This scale also looks into and observes the mothers behaviour.
